Description
Before WW2 Poland was home to many people of Jewish descent. This trip allows you to get to know the great influence of Jewish culture on Polish culture. The ride through Cracow, Warsaw, Lodz and Lublin is also an opportunity to visit the memorials that bear witness to the destruction of the Jewish people.

Day 1
CRACOW
Arrival in Cracow. Check in at the hostel.

Day 2
CRACOW / Jewish Quarter - Schindler's Factory
Guided tour of the old Jewish quarter of Cracow (Kazimierz) and the former Jewish ghetto in the district Podgórze. In the itinerary: admission to the museum of the former Schindler's Factory and guided tour of the exhibition "Cracow under Nazi Occupation 1939-1945".
Dinner in Jewish restaurant with live Klezmer music.

CRACOW – AUSCHWITZ – ŁÓDŹ
AM: Transfer to Oświęcim - General guided tour (3h30) in the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
PM: Continue to Łódź - Discovery of the historic centre of Łódź. Check in at the hostel.

Day 4
ŁÓDŹ – WARSAW
AM: Walk in the footsteps of Jewish Heritage in Łódź. On the agenda: the Jewish Cemetery, territories of the former ghetto Litzmanstadt, synagogue and Radogoszcz station (Radegast) where many prisoners were deported to the extermination camps of Chełmno and Auschwitz.
Optional: Conference at the Marek Edelman Dialogue Center about political and labour history of the Jewish world in Łódź.
PM: Departure for Warsaw - capital of Poland. Panoramic tour of the city. Check in at the hostel.

WARSAW – TREBLINKA – LUBLIN
AM: Departure to Treblinka - Visit of the former labour camp and Nazi extermination - Treblinka Memorial.
PM: Continue to Lublin - visit in former Majdanek concentration camp.
At the end of the day check in at the hostel in Lublin.
