School trip to Warsaw

In the footsteps of Frédéric Chopin

Not all know that Frédéric Chopin was a Pole. This school trip provides an opportunity to see the Polish capital from the perspective of the great composer. An interesting travel not only for music lovers.

Programme

Day 1
WARSAW / Old Town

AM: Arrival in Warsaw.
PM: Dedicated to the discovery of the Warsaw Old Town (Stare Miasto) rebuilt exactly after the bombings of the World War II : site of the royal castle and the famous column of King Zygmunt III, Old Market Square, castle residency that formerly served throughout the centuries as the official residence of the Polish monarchs (Zamek Królewski) and the Cathedral.
Day 2
WARSAW – ŻELAZOWA WOLA

AM: Excursion to Zelazowa Wola, located 50 km from Warsaw to visit the birthplace of F. Chopin. Admission to the park and walk around his house.
PM: Visit the Chopin Museum in Warsaw.
Day 3
WARSAW

AM: Walk through the palace gardens and visit the Łazienki Palace, also known as “Palace on the Water”, summer residence of the last king of Poland.
PM: Free time and departure from Warsaw.
