After a tasty breakfast in the hotel restaurant, it’s time to continue your journey by coach. The next point on the route will be Warsaw, where we have planned a walk around the Old Town, visiting the Royal Castle and the Palace on the Island in the Royal Łazienki Museum. After lunch, you will set off to the east of Poland – to Białowieża. The day will end with a gala dinner at the hotel.

On the third day of the trip, you will have a break from the hustle and bustle of the city while walking around the Białowieża National Park, one of the two cross-border UNESCO sites on the tour route. In addition to wandering through the woods, you will visit the bison reserve, which is the symbol of the Park.

After an active morning, it’s time for a moment of rest during lunch and a bus ride to the next town on the trail – Zamość, which will take you back to the Renaissance times with its atmosphere. You will experience it during an evening walk around the Old Town, where your guide will take you right after dinner.

You will be rewarded for an early departure by visiting the oldest monument on our route – the Prehistoric Striped Flint Mining Region in Krzemionki. The visit includes both the underground part and a walk through the nature reserve.

In the afternoon you will see two examples of outstanding wooden church-building tradition. The first is the former Lemko Church of Our Lady’s Protection in Owczary, and the second is the Roman Catholic Church of St Michael the Archangel in Dębno. Late in the evening, you will arrive in Kraków, where you will have a well-deserved rest in a comfortable hotel.

This morning will start with a guided walk around the Kraków Old Town. You will see, among others, the largest medieval square in Europe, the Wawel Royal Castle, and one of the oldest universities in the world – the Jagiellonian University.

In the afternoon you will go underground again – this time it will be a tour of the ‘Wieliczka’ Salt Mine. We draw your attention to the impressive chapel of St Kinga carved in salt.

After packing your luggage, the coach will take you to the Sanctuary of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska which is called ‘Polish Jerusalem’, as the pilgrimage complex and landscape park was modelled on a map of Jerusalem. The monastery is not only dedicated to the Passion of Christ, but it is a Marian shrine as well. The miracle-famous image of Our Lady of Kalwaria attracts pilgrimages from around the world.

In the afternoon you will visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum – the Former German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp. You will spend the night in Oświęcim.

It is already a week on the road. You will spend the seventh day in Silesia – the most industrial region of the country. And although Silesia is mainly associated with black gold – coal, we will not take you to a hard coal mine, but to a much more unique place – a silver, iron, and lead mine in Tarnowskie Góry. In addition to the traditional tour of the mine, something special awaits you – a boat trip through the Black Trout Adit (a horizontal or near-horizontal passage driven from the Earth’s surface into the side of a ridge or mountain for the purpose of working, ventilating, or removing water from a mine). With a little imagination, you will feel like you are in an underground Venice. In the evening you will reach another city associated with Venice – Wrocław, which is called the ‘city of a hundred bridges’.

On the eighth day of the trip, we have planned a walk around Wrocław for you. Every few hundred metres you will meet small figures of dwarfs on your way. Watch them closely, because they usually reveal with their attributes what is interesting for you to see in the area. The guide will show you, among others, The Old Town, Aula Leopoldina, Ostrów Tumski, or the former cathedral island and the Four Denominations District. In the afternoon, you will move to another part of the city where the main attraction awaits you – the modernist Centennial Hall.

Today, the coach will take you to the small town of Świdnica, which houses another wooden temple along the route of the trip. What’s so special about it? In addition to the interesting history related to the circumstances of the construction of the building, about which the guide will tell you more on site, it is worth remembering that it is the largest wooden baroque church in the world. It is full of beautiful, rich decorations that will take your breath away, as befits the baroque style.

In the afternoon, in turn, you will take a stroll through the vast, romantic Mużakowski Park in Łęknica, decorated in the English style. You will return to Wrocław for the night.

The trip around Poland is coming to the end. You managed to see all 16 Polish sites from the UNESCO list. However, you can still feel unsatisfied, because some entries include more than one site, such as the entire trail of wooden temples or the second salt mine – this time in Bochnia. Meanwhile, it’s time for a last breakfast in Poland, a farewell walk around Wrocław in search of interesting souvenirs and a drive to the Nicolaus Copernicus Airport. Sounds familiar? Of course, you’ve already visited his hometown!
