Poland
Poland is located in the Central and Eastern Europe, on the Baltic Sea. It borders with 7 countries – Russia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Germany. Thanks to its rich history, it is at the forefront of the most visited countries in Europe. The capital Warsaw has for years become a great metropolitan city with a mixture of Polish and global culture.
In the south, Kraków is the second largest city. Kraków was honored with a lot of titles such as European Capital of Culture in 2000, UNESCO City of Literature in 2013 or European City of Sport in 2014. Kraków regularly appears in the rankings of the most popular and fashionable tourist cities in Europe. In the north we can visit Gdańsk, once a German city located on the Baltic Sea, a popular destination in the summer.
In Poland, there are also 23 various national parks, which are an ideal opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of cities. We should not forget about the rich regional cuisine, thanks to which foreign tourists fall in love with Poland.

Kraków is the former capital of Poland. The must-see attractions are the Old Town, Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory, Nowa Huta – former communist district. It is also impossible to be in Kraków and not to visit the nearby Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum and the ‘Wieliczka’ Salt Mine, which are included on the UNESCO list next to Kraków's Old Town.
If this is your first visit in Gdańsk, you will find out very quickly that such a short stay is not enough to discover all its charms. These four days, however, will be enough for you to wish to be back again in Gdańsk, especially as each season is completely different here.
Wrocław is situated on the bank of the Odra River, has 12 islands and over 100 bridges, which is why it is called the ‘Polish Venice’. This capital of Lower Silesia bears traces of Czech, German and Polish rule. The influences of these cultures were marked in architecture, creating one of the most interesting cities in Poland. While in Wrocław, it is also worth going on a journey through Lower Silesia and discovering the unique tourist attractions of this region.

Easter is the most important holiday in the Christian tradition. Every year, Targ Węglowy (Coal Market) in Gdańsk turns into an atmospheric Christmas market for five weeks. Fryderyk Chopin is considered to be one of the greatest pianists and composers of the 19th century. He was born in Żelazowa Wola but spent almost half of his life in Warsaw where he grew up, gave his first concerts and felt in love for the first time. The Green Velo East of Poland Cycling Trail is nearly 2,000 km long. The part of the route which we propose measures 543 km. It mainly runs on asphalt roads with low traffic, sometimes through forest paths and river valleys.
Velo Dunajec has already been praised many times for being the most beautiful bicycle trail in Poland. This route deserves attention due to the variety of visited places, from the cultural attractions of Zakopane, through points related to the history of the region, to unique areas in terms of nature.
The EuroVelo 10 route, marked in Poland as the R10, runs along the picturesque Polish coastline. Where can you look at the world from the clouds? Only in the mountains of course. The Beskids, although not too high, are an exceptionally attractive and highly diversified range.
