Day 1
Merry Christmas Gdańsk!

In the beginning, you will go on a 4-hour walk around the Main Town. You will see, among others, the famous Neptune Fountain and magical St. Mary’s Street known as the “amber avenue.” You will also enter the terrace of St. Mary’s Basilica. 82 meters of climbing are ahead of you – that’s over 400 steps, but the view from the top will be a reward for your effort. You will have a short stop at the Town Hall, and then you will walk along the Motława River. Pay attention to the stunning view of Granary Island. It is also worth visiting after sunset!

Later on, you will go to a local restaurant and finish off the evening with traditional Polish dishes, regional drinks, and mulled wine.

With the smell of mulled wine in the air

After a hearty breakfast, you will go for your first walk through the market stalls. You will be surrounded by beautiful scents of roasted nuts, cinnamon and oranges. You can spend two hours in this place, but don’t worry, you will be back in the evening. The next point of the itinerary will be a visit to the European Solidarity Center, the place where important changes for Europe began.

In the afternoon, our guide will take you to the Oliwa Park. After sunset the park is brightened by beautiful Christmas illuminations.

After returning to the center, a festive dinner by a Christmas tree will be waiting for you. Then it will be time to return to the streets of the market to taste mulled wine and discover other attractions.

Day 3
Farewell and see you soon

After breakfast, you will have some time for the last walk around the historic center of Gdańsk. Hand-made Christmas balls, wooden Christmas decorations or a handful of goodies – everyone will find something for themselves. It is worth finding such unique gifts for your loved ones!

Just before return, you will have a meal together. The plates will be filled with dumplings – a traditional Polish dish and at the same time one of Christmas Eve dishes. The most popular are stuffed with meat, cabbage and mushrooms or potatoes and cheese (those are called ‘Russian’).

The guide will take you to the station / airport. See you next year, or maybe sooner …?
