Greater Poland
The Greater Poland voivodeship is located in central-western Poland and its capital is Poznań, where you can see the only Claude Monet’s painting located in Poland – “Beach in Pourville”. Poland’s first capital, Gniezno, lies in Greater Poland and its gothic cathedral was the coronation place of Polish kings. In Wolsztyn exists the last European active locomotive manufacture, also hosting the annual parade and its locomotives from Poland and Europe. The Great Loop of Greater Poland – Poland’s longest waterway – invites you on a cruise on the Warta and Noteć rivers, surrounded by beautiful nature.
