Where to go
Holy Cross
The Holy Cros voivodeship is located in south-central Poland and its capital is Kielce, called the city of Piłsudzki Legions. In the central-northern part of the voivodeship lie the Świętokrzyskie Mountains and the Świętokrzyski National Park. Kielce’s must-see is the Palace of Kraków Bishops, currently housing the National Museum with works of Wyspiański, Witkacy, Stryjeńska, Kossak or Gierymski. It is worth visiting the Krzemionki archaeological reserve, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2019. In Tokarnia (near Chęciny), the Kielce Countryside Museum and its Ethnographic Park must also be visited.
