Where to go
Kuyavia-Pomerania
The Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship is located in north-central Poland and has two capitals Bydgoszcz and Toruń. First is called through its many bridges, canals, weirs, and branches, “Little Amsterdam”. It is worth visiting there the cathedral of St. Marcin and Nicolaus with the White Granary. Birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus, Toruń offers besides its historic Old Town, the house of Nicolaus Copernicus, the planetarium, and the living museum of gingerbread. A natural attraction is the Tuchola Pinewoods with its 900 lakes, an area rich in canoeing routes on the Brda, Wda, and Drwęca rivers.
