Masovia
The Masovian voivodeship is located in central-eastern Poland and its capital is Warsaw, also the capital of Poland. Warsaw is full of monuments and museums, especially the UNESCO-listed Old Town and its Royal Castle, the Łazienki Park, the Palace of Culture and Science, the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, and the Wilanów Palace. The Chopin Trail leads through Żelazowa Wola, Fryderyk Chopin’s birthplace, and Warsaw. In the region lies also the Kampinos National Park, inscribed on the UNESCO list of biosphere reserves.
