Where to go
Opole
The Opole voivodeship is located in southern Poland and its capital is Opole, known for the Polish Song Festival. In this region was discovered the skeleton of the world’s oldest dinosaur; on the excavation site is currently located Jura Park – a museum combined with an amusement park and an active paleontological site. On the Opole Trail of Castles and Palaces lies the Castle in Moszna, headquarters of the Knights Templar according to the legend. The region is also known for its sanctuary on Mount St. Anna, the former place of a million-year-old active volcano.
