Itinerary
Warsaw is easily accessible from any part of Poland due to its convenient traffic connection and its central location. Everyone will find something for themselves here, and we will make sure that your stay in the capital is successful.
Day 1
Once upon a time… in Warsaw
It is best to start the meeting with the capital from the oldest part of Warsaw surrounded by defensive walls, full of narrow streets and historic tenement houses. You will not see the traces of destruction caused by World War II. Thanks to meticulous restoration the Old Town was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the tour you will see the tallest and the oldest secular monument in the capital – the Column of King Sigismund III Vasa and a statue of the Mermaid of Warsaw, the emblem and guardian of the city.
Then you will go along the Royal Route to the Royal Łazienki Museum where you will see, among others, the Palace on the Isle, the amphitheater and the Belvedere Palace, the official residence used by the President of the Republic of Poland.
Day 2
Difficult 20th century
Time for a tough meeting with the past. The guide will show you the traces of multi-ethnic Warsaw which existed before World War II when the city was considered the center of European Jewish culture. You will see the Nożyk Synagogue, the Jewish Cemetery, and then you will visit the interactive Warsaw Rising Museum where the history of the capital during World War II is shown, especially the events that took place in 1944, during the Warsaw Uprising.
In the afternoon you will see the National Stadium, one of the most modern facilities of this type in Europe, and get to the roof of the University of Warsaw Library, with a beautiful garden and panoramic views of the Vistula River and the Old Town surroundings.
Day 3
The fascinating world of science
No school group should leave Warsaw before visiting the Copernicus Science Center. It is a real paradise for science enthusiasts. Here, everyone will feel like a researcher and discoverer. This place will allow you to explore the mysteries of the functioning of the human body, take you on a journey back in time to the beginning of life on earth and explain what gravity is all about. What is more, in a modern planetarium you will have the opportunity to admire around 20 million stars!
Warsaw can surprise you… Have you discovered all its secrets? Probably not, that is why we invite you to another visit in the capital. Maybe next time you will follow in the footsteps of Fryderyk Chopin?
