Itinerary

The nature of Podlasie Region captivates, attracts and enchants. In four days you will visit the Białowieża, Narew, Biebrza and Wigry National Parks. You will spend time cycling through the forest, walking in the swamps, rafting and kayaking.

Day 1
In the kingdom of the bison

Białowieża National Park is the first stop on the route. Immediately upon arrival, you will leave your luggage and get on a bike. Our guide will take you on a bicycle trail leading through the Białowieża Forest. On the way, you will stop at the Bison Show Reserve and get a close look at the king of the forest. 

After an active day, we invite you to a gala dinner. You will try the local delicacies and spirits that this region is famous for. Overnight is planned in a hotel in Białowieża.

Day 2
The Polish Amazon

After breakfast, you will set off by coach to the Narew National Park. The Narew is called the ‘Polish Amazon’ because, just like it, it meanders and creates numerous pools. You will start your tour of the park with a walk along the footbridge that stretches between the villages of Waniewo and Śliwno. You will cross numerous riverbeds with the help of floating platforms fixed on ropes. Then you will have an opportunity to get on kayaks in search of a beaver lodges. After an exhausting day, you will have a rest in the capital of Podlasie – Białystok.

Day 3
Rafting along the Biebrza

Today you will visit Biebrza National Park. The tour will start with a walk on a 400-metre footbridge leading between the swamps. At the end of the path, there is a viewing platform from which you can observe elk. Then you will take the coach along the Carska Droga, also known as the ‘Elk Road’, towards Dolistowo Stare. Rafts will be waiting there for you, on which you will spend several lazy hours admiring the largest national park in Poland from the water level. The Biebrza is an untamed river that does not rush anywhere – it flows calmly, creating perfect conditions for the existence of birds. Thousands of them come here every year – Biebrza is one of the largest wildlife refuges in Europe.

We will spend the night at a hotel in Augustów.

Day 4
In the land of hills and lakes

The Wigry National Park, where you will spend this day, is characterised by a very diverse landscape. It is a land of hills and dozens of picturesque lakes. We will take you on a ship cruise on the Wigry – one of the largest, cleanest and most beautiful lakes in Poland. The winding coastline and numerous islands and bays are home to many protected species of birds and animals, including the symbol of the park – beavers. After the cruise, you will visit the former Camaldolese monastery towering over the waters of the lake – a place where you can experience true mysticism.

The time has come to say goodbye to the Podlasie Region. Maybe you will come back here someday. A colourful ethnic and religious mosaic, for which this region is famous, is waiting to be discovered.
