Secrets of the capital of Lesser Poland

Itinerary

You can reach Kraków by regularly scheduled flight or by your own bus. Regardless of the means of transport, we will take care of you on the spot, and the days spent in Kraków will remain an unforgettable experience.

Day 1
In the world of medieval legends

A walk around the Old Town (UNESCO) will start at the Main Square, where you will listen to the trumpet call played on one of the towers of St Mary’s Church. According to the legend, this melody was played during the Tatar invasion; unfortunately it remained unfinished because the bugler was killed.

Next, you will go along the Royal Route towards the Wawel Royal Castle. Following this trail, you can see the unique and representative points of the city. It is, in a way, Kraków in a nutshell. The trip ends with climbing the Wawel Hill, at the foot of which, according to mediaeval legend, lived a dragon terrorising the local inhabitants.

Day 2
Wartime stories

You will start the second day of the trip with a guided tour at Oskar Schindler’s Factory. The exhibition tells about the fate of Polish and Jewish residents during World War II, but also about the Germans – occupiers who interrupted the centuries-old history of Polish-Jewish Kraków.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum (UNESCO). In the years 1940–1945, it was the largest Nazi concentration camp, where over a million people died. About 90% of the victims were Jews transported here from European countries under occupation or remaining in the zone of German influence. It is the world’s most recognised symbol of the Holocaust, genocide, and terror.
